Giclée Prints & the Artist
Since 1998, we have provided the art community with exceptional museum standard Giclée prints under the guidance of Master Photographer Leonard. Leonard is a third generation printer and photographer coming from a long line of reproduction specialists.

Accurate color matching is not WYSIWYG it is an art form unto itself.

Leonard’s philosophy:
• Keep the Giclée process affordable and under the artist's control,
• Provide the artist with consistent quality Giclée prints
• Each print must compliment the artist's artistic ability and expressions

Leonard transforms these expressions into a museum quality Giclée print. You, the artist, not the printer, can choose the size of the image, the substrate, and the size of the limited edition run.

We use the term "Giclées on Demand". If you need only one giclée print, only one Giclée will be printed.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are some of the benefits of Giclée Printmaking?
The benefits are numerous and varied. Versatility in subject matter and the ability to experiment. Since the initial investment in a Giclée edition is minimal, the artist can take more risks to find out what is acceptable to the market and will sell. This allows the artist more creative freedom and help prevent costly mistakes. Additionally it is becoming more and more widely acknowledged that Giclée prints offer richness, detail and depth that set them apart from traditional offset lithography.

Are Giclées acceptable with prominent museums and artists?
Yes, we'll just drop a few names here; Jim Dine, Andrew and Jamie Wyeth, Robert Rauschenburg and David Hockney are among the many well-known artists who are having Giclées printed. And Giclées are being embraced by dozens of museums around the world to include New York's Metropolitan Museum and the Guggenheim, the National Museum of Mexico, the Corcoran in Washington, DC, and the High Museum in Atlanta to name a few.

What is the expected life of a Giclée print?
The most important fact to remember is that all color fades. As far as Giclée prints are concerned, some original watercolors will fade faster than a well-made Giclée. Unlike lithographs and serigraphs, Giclées have undergone extensive, third party fade testing. While the predicted display life depends on many variables, if using the newest Epson prototype inks available, a Giclée print can last as long as 200 years before noticeable fading begins.
